Opening Assembly:

Kumu Kanoelane Galiza : Asian center in Tacoma, dances and Storytelling sings.

Performances for the break out sessions:-Indian Martial Arts- Mexican folk performer (maybe)- Ecuadorian Performer- Bagpipe performance- Ballet Folklorico
-Erynn has flyers for recruiting people to participate in the Culture Walk.
-Mrs. Burch is working on the 4th grade presentation (Song)
-Ben from YMCA: Kids will perform Samoan Drumming.
-The kindergarten classes will perform a song.
-The PTA will make lunch for the volunteers.
-Grade levels will be working on lei’s for students.
Teachers need to have Polynesian Art in the hallways for the ART Walk by Friday, May 20th.
Janet will be renting palm trees from Christian Palm Rental for the entrance of the building. Next week we will begin decorating the halls.
Sack lunches will be served Thursday. Hawaiian lunch will be provided on Friday.
We need to work on the schedule and get it out to the staff ahead of time this year.
