Flute Player:
There is a flute player from the Tacoma Art Museum that will be willing to play perform for an assembly at Carson. Question: What would the format look like at Carson? (Performance by grade level?)
BECU Grant:
Carson did not receive the grant from Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU)? We are waiting to hear back about the grant we applied for from Lowes and the Kiwanis. We made a request to our PTA for $500. This would cover the cost of the cedar used to frame the entrance of the Gathering Area. We are expecting to receive funds from another source. The cedar wood is ready for pick-up in Bellingham. Arturo and Rudy Fyles are arranging a time for pick-up.
REACH ART:
The Diversity Team made a decision to meet before school at 7:30. This would make it easier for more members to attend. However, the next Diversity meeting will take place on March 8th at 3:00pm. This will be a one time afternoon meeting to allow ample time to prepare and mount student art work for the Diversity Fair.
