Mix It Up Day: Denita and Sarah presented questions for students to ask during lunch time. Denita provided table posters showing groups of diverse kids interacting in different settings. The decision was not to laminate but to keep them in clear paper protectors for future use. Miles will store in Microphone closet on stage for future use.
Music Performances: Maria met with Miles and Arturo to share upcoming assemblies/performances.
Veteran's Day:RHS ROTC Colored Guard is scheduled to presnet the colors
Howling Coyotes: grades 3 with Miles and Todd performing Proud To Be An American
Veterans from Audience will introduce self, branch of the military, and connection to Carson
Winter Music Program: Review of district guidelines for holiday performances. Maria shared that there is an intentional inclusion of different cultural songs: Kwanzaa, Hannukah, Spanish, Traditional American
