District Diversity Representative: Janet Tran. Janet will have approx. 5-10 minutes at each staff meeting to update staff on ODA/District/Building topics regarding diversity.

REACH/SEED Representative: Sara Boedigheimer

Jo Ann Noel and Sara B. have been working on redoing second grade curriculum. They are sharing these changes with ODA.
Grade 3 and Grade 4 will be swapping REACH/SEED curriculum. The content seems more applicable to the opposite grade level. Both grades are in agreement.
Teaching Tolerance
Rhinos & Raspberries. Sarah Simon has information/books with posters on program. The program is literacy focused and includes topic such as cooperation.
Mix It Up Day
November 13th. Mix it up and meet a new friend day during lunch time. We encourage teachers talking with students about why mixing it up. See website at www.mixitup.org/teachers There will also be an info booklet in the library. Sarah will work on ordering posters and stickers for the school. Connections will be invited to attend this event. More specific information to come.
Non Profit Fundraising
Consider requesting fundraising for Change for Africa (bring water to the school that was built last year). Display poster with Vicki Michael from Rogers to let know about our school’s positive impact last year. It is also nice to have continuity of projects from year to year. Info will move forward to PACK Leadership.
Concern Box
Teachers are encouraged to include information in their classroom newsletters of Concern Box in main office. Please take a look at the information that went out last Tuesday in the building newsletter as a reference.
