District Diversity Meeting Update
Janet shared information from the District Diversity meeting regarding the World Summit celebration. There are still outstanding debts from last year's event. The PSD will most likely be doing something separate/on their own this year. What that looks like has still not been determined.
REACH/SEED Curriculum
Jo Ann shared that there is still some confusion regarding the REACH/SEED curriculum. The committee agreed that it would be helpful for everyone to have a review of the materials available and the expectations for their use. Jo Ann will review the information with staff members at the next LIC Wednesday Principal Directed meeting.
Gary Howard
The book study will be starting with the next principal directed day. It was determined in the fall to wait until after winter break. Sonja and Arturo agreed to group staff members into teams. The intent will be to mix them up so that they are not in grade level teams. Three clock hours will be offered for reading the book. Teams will then determine when they will be meeting. They will let Miles and Arturo know the dates and times. Reading Pacing Schedule is as follows:
