Diversity Day debrief--

• Title change---Celebrating Heritage (not required to be own heritage)


• Culture Walk--expand into more of a cultural activities setup; also add a scavenger hunt piece


• Length of culture walk worked better with additional dance demonstrations. Extra events helped because less time was needed for the Culture Walk.


• Classroom lesson pairings--some challenges because classes couldn't handle capacity of two groups at once; many management issues including space for instruction with double classes


• Sack lunch system worked well


• Morning assembly went well


• Reserve music room for dance staging area for performances


• Stick with 3 rotations


• Time of year--is there really a better time?


• Continue to ask PTA to sponsor luncheon for guests/presenters/volunteers
